Well, here I am
I can't believe I'm awake at 2 in the morning. I just hope Joseph does't wake me up around 4. Anyway, I think I started this first to just be able to check on those miracle boys, but now I'm starting to realize that there is a huge group of people I can connect to - specifically about homeschooling.
Dave and I came to the conclusion that God was leading us to homeschool about 3-4 weeks ago. We have decided to start Aug 7th since that's when 'regular school' starts. Plus that gives us a few more paychecks to stash. I have started taking lunch (should have been doing from the beginning), so that will save some money. Can't really do anything about all the gas I've been using going from Roebuck to Riverchase daily, so oh well.
I am going to miss the people at Eyecare Associates, but I do have a peace and a bunch of excitement about getting started with Joseph. Part of me wishes I could get started now, but there is a lot of planning to do. I'm researching how to be organized, which church school to be connected to, how to figure out how Joseph learns, what questions I need to ask to choose a church school. I think you get the idea.
I really have missed my full time mom friends the last year and a half I've been working. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with them and starting new friendships along the way.
